nm/tx actvty appeared to initate as mid-lvl cnvtn that was alrdy in progress
durg the ery aftn.  these stms sprd ewd into the lo-lvl mstr axis and became
supercells...producing svrl small tornadoes in the lbb and maf wrng areas durg
the ery eve.  although the upr-lvl wnd fields verified smwht stgr than fcst
(e.g. 60kt wsw flow at 300mb vs. 50kts fcst)...actvty appeared to lack a stg lo-
lvl focusing mechanism (bndry) and suf lrg scale uvv to rmn svr beyond arnd 04z.

an isold supercell dvlpd arnd 21z ovr se co.  this stm produced a number of
tornadoes and contd ewd acrs cntrl ks into mo as a svr mcs ltr monday ngt
/ery tuesday.  the outflow bndry fm this actvty was oriented wnw/ese acrs srn
ks/xtrm ne ok at 12z tuesday.  the co stm appeared to form at the nrn edge
of the lo-lvl mstr axis...where cnvgnc was enhanced alg a ne/sw oriented dryln/
lee trof.  the upr flow was also stgr ovr this area than farther s...which 
may have also contributed to this stm rmng svr longer than those which formed
ovr ern nm and w tx.
